Sand In My Eyes by Christine Lemmon

If you are a mother of more than one child, chances are you’ve considered getting in the car and driving until you’ve run out of gas, destination not important. Maybe you’ve fantasized about buying a ticket to anywhere and jetting off alone to get some place offering peace and quiet; I’ve considered Paris.  On the flip side, my children are growing up so quickly and sooner than I realize they will be off to college and out of the house and then for the rest of my life, I really will be alone with plenty of quiet.

Sand in My Eyes by Christine Lemmon is about, “A novel framed within a novel, Sand In My Eyes is both a story about the tension between motherhood and personal dreams as well as a story about women across generations inspiring one another to let beauty persist despite ugly circumstances.”  source

Doesn’t it sound good? They had me at “motherhood” and “personal dreams”.

The book has received great reviews on both Amazon and Barnes and Noble and I cannot wait to crack it open and enjoy it. For more, please go to the authors website here.
